Happy Fat Sleepy Missionaries

As we left our members house at which we had Thanksgiving, my companion said, "We're just a bunch of happy Fat Sleepy Missionaries!" And it was so funny!!

Valencia is doing rul good. We have, like, 2 people to teach, so... that'll be a good challenge! Hna Robinson is a great missionary and she keeps me laughing so much! She's also the coolest person as she's gone through some really hard things in her 20 years. All the time, I'm like, "I know exactly how you feel! I once... dropped... my ice cream... and I was so sad!!!" *face palm* Yeah, there are blessings in both directions as I'm glad I have a happy (fat sleepy??) family, but I also just all the time am like "I gave you this wonderful book. WHY DIDN'T YOU READ IT!!???!" Anyways, sorry for that little rant.

We saw a lot of good miracles this week (even with my eyes being glazed over with the transfer to a new area; it's been a hot sec since THAT'S happened!) And we look forward to seeing some things develop. I'd share more specific details, but I don't remember ANYONE'S name. I'm still working on our phone number 😅👍

I had a cool experience in Alma 36:8. I imagine that when the Angel told him to stand up 3 times in a row, that probably went a little deeper than physically. I had a thought that maybe something inside of him - the part that knew he was made for more, that he was a valiant son of God - heard that call to not shrink and stood up inside. Like that one talk called "Stand up Inside and Be All In." Take a look at it. Or something.

Yep. That's about it. You can go check out the other Hna Baer's email now. G'head. Go on, now!

Pics
Hna Robinson. She's the best! We took "Thank you" and "Love You" cards ot all the the less active or lonely people we could think of without destroying our mile limit. It was really cool. We found some long-lost sheep!

Birds. All the time, there's just weird birds in weird places, and ya can't ever tell if they're real or not. These ones are real. I hope they're eating all the dumb ants upon which Florida is built.

One More Minute!

Once upon a time, we were trying to cross the street with our bikes, but our needy Semoran Elders called. I was trying to fix their problem while also bike to the church as fast as possible to save the Relief Society activity (cuz they got locked out of the church I:" ) But I forgot that the left turn-ers go before the pedestrians. So I watched the light change, then I started walking, got about half a step before I caught on, then backed up. It was a pretty minor thing. Or so I thought! The second car in line rolled down the window and a very nice man (probably a member??) said, "One more minute! :D" as he drove by. What a sassy gent.

Anyways, we had a bit of a crazy week as we tried to meet with all the new people we found to teach last week. Yaira got sick (you invite to baptism and they get super sick. It happened to Victor as well!! #oppositioninALLthings ]:" ) so we haven't been able to talk or teach her. One more minute. But she had a dream and is now completely convinced God wants her to be baptized in a river. According to the 7th article of faith, I know that "We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth." But how do you respond to someone who comes to you and says they have had a dream of being baptized in a river, and thus are focused on getting baptized in a river? We're going to go back* and make sure she wants THE TRUE church, and not just church. But any advice on how to answer visions would be nice.

Also, I had a cool study about Aaron! When he was teaching the Old King (father of Lamoni) and converts him. But if the old King had not met Ammon with King Lamoni, and if Ammon hadn't gone to save his brethren, and thus if the brethren hadn't been stuck in jail; ALL of this!! wouldn't have happened. If Aaron & co. hadn't have spent time in jail, the Old King wouldn't've been converted and wouldn't've converted his people and thus no Anti-Nephi-Lehi's, and thus no mass conversion nor 2000 stripling warriors!! Think of all the good that DID happen, but that wouldn't've happened if he hadn't been imprisoned. It's almost like God sends us through dark tunnels so we come closer to the light and are converted a little more, and then he sends us miracles. You have to wait one more minute in the dark, and then, if you're patient, you can have a view to a miracle. (not a kill;) Wow. Stick with it!! You can do it!!

Oh, also, transfer doctrine: Hna Robbins is staying and I'm GOING!!! TO VALENCIA!!... That means I'll still be coming to the same P-days and the same district meeting. I'll see Hna Robbins 2 times every week. At least. Whaddamove. But a Hermana named Hna Perry is coming to take my place. My new companion will be Hna Robinson. 0.o #tonguetied

Also, bragging rights: the church is starting a new program called EnglishConnect. We heard more about it at Zone Conference, and we held our first session at our chapel on Wednesday. While there, it was announced that this was not only the first session for our Stake, it was the first session in all of Florida. AND! Not only was it the first session in all of Florida, it was the first session in the eastern half of the United States. :])) No pressure. But wait, there is no pressure. I got transferred. :}

Alright. I'm done. Have a great week all! Enjoy the snow!!

My bed after early morning seminary. It's official: I could live at the church.

The Ortega family. They're awesome!

Oh. That's it. No more pictures. Sorry! Have a great weak! Remember: Paaaaaatience.

¿Que hora es?🍮

To celebrate our finally having a Día de Hispanidad and the goal Hna Robbins and I have had for 2 weeks now to only speak Spanish, the remainder of this letter will be in Spanish. Gracias.
[Mom ran this through Google Translate. . . hope it's close.😊]

Y voy a morir. DEP. (Descansen en Paz)
We have had a goal to speak only Spanish between 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. And I'm going to die. We are working as a district to be more united. And we have two elders who grew up speaking Spanish. Then the mud is very high. R.I.P. (Rest in peace) [Or maybe la barra – the bar is very high.]

Y me destruyó!!
Also this week, Sister Robbins and I set a goal to find 14 new people. And it destroyed me!! We cut all the free time, and after a good week, we had found 10 new people! Wow! There were many miracles in this, such as when Yaira, with whom we have had contact for about a month, called us "out of the blue" and we started to talk. She is very nice and is one of the people who do not know where the gospel of Christ is, as the promise of the scriptures. We are encouraged to work more with her.

Another miracle is that we finally had our Columbus Day! And it was FANTASTIC!! Each country made its own table and presentation as well. I love that each country can be so different, but still have things and traditions in common. The elders were so proud of our table - they and also Brother Sellers of our neighborhood. He is the only other of the United States in our neighborhood. He wore a shirt of his mission in Chile. (Santiago, I already asked. :[ ) But Yaira talked with us during the party and said "I want to be baptized! How do I do it?" We died!! Already she began to invite friends (she already has friends in the church??) to her baptism! We still do not have an appointment, but that will change VERY fast! ;)

In addition, we had our Primary Program, and they asked me to play. 0_o I learned about 11 songs in 2 weeks inside the missionary schedule. :P I'm fried. But everything was very nice, and I really loved playing. (And thanks to this, we were invited to the after-party in Primary afterwards! It was really crazy. :D)

Bueno Suerte!! Tenga un buen semana!
I cannot share some of my studies because some days, the study time was called "free time," so, rather than reading about leprosy, I read and liked the speech "A Summer with Aunt Abuela Rosa" by President Uchtdorf. Please, enjoy it and learn for yourself. Good luck!! Have a good week!

Nuestro pizza por la fiesta. Vive América.

After-party. Literally off the hook [Primary program]

Fiesta pics. Peru was the best! Mostly because it was all my favorite members. The daughter of the Serrano family came up afterwards the primary program and hugged me. 😍 FAVORITES!!!

I'd like to Apologize in Advance for What's About to Happen

So, the Zone Leaders suggested P-Day at a park (not at a church?????) and so we went and played. And played. And played. Much like the Pioneer children. But, fun. Just as hot and sandy. ANYWAYS,
Long story short, this is gunna be short.

> Exchanges: there were so many miracles in Tusckawilla ! Like when we got a call from a random number and she said she had a card in her door 3 weeks ago, and she wants to meet with us/them. Wut? Then some guy in a car flagged us down and asked us where the nearest church was. Cuz he's less active. hh-WUUT??? Anyways, I get back and Hna Robbins is like "We now have service on Tuesday! But, no bread... I mean car." So. Still am not sure if those are worth it.

> We got super soaked as we tried to attach our bikes onto our car. That was fun. Frankly, I still love the rain. Even if my skirt falls down!

> At Zone Conference, they told us to expect miracles in finding. So Thursday night, Hna Robbins is hyped up to find one person that night (we had about 1.5 hours and 3 hours of study and dinner still left to do, so of course we went out finding. #Konsicrated) and after searching for lost members (They moved. I have no idea what the language the new inhabitants speak.) We were walking back to the car, final moments, and a young joven pulls in (basically into us:) and Hna strikes up a conversation about bad parking and her companion. The joven says she's looking for a church and we smile. wow. Miracles. It's almost like God loves us!

Well, with that I'll share all that 1 picture I've got. I don't know how we made it through Halloween, Zone Conference, and Exchanges without taking pictures. Sorry.

Also, I hope you all are following the Prophets challenge! Reading the Book of Mormon on a search is super inspired!! DO IT!

Fin.

Service at Sundown! We cleaned a fence:)

My one exchange picture. There was a Squirrel, hanging from a tree by its feet, eating a nut. Heh heh. Funny.

I don't know if you can tell, but its raining. Hard.

Something tells me that You're All Wet!!
